Mim Kempson, MNTCW, is an ADHD & Autism Therapist and Relationship Therapist specializing in supporting adults and adolescents in better understanding and nurturing their own or their loved one’s neurodivergence. After more than 6 years running her own private practice in Australia as a Counsellor, Sexologist and Sex Educator, Mim brings a wealth of experience to her work with individuals, couples and families. As a late-diagnosed, high-masking AuDHD (autism & ADHD) adult herself, Mim’s lived experience also informs the motivating, strength-based approach she takes in her practice.

Whether recently diagnosed, self-identifying or questioning their own neurotype, clients often see Mim for guidance on navigating work, study and daily life as a neurodivergent person. This includes learning how to self-regulate, unmask safely and recover from burnout. Specializing in sex, dating, relationships and working with LGBTQIA+ and gender diverse people, Mim also helps individuals and couples connect more authentically, communicate more effectively, cultivate greater self-confidence, deepen intimacy and improve their sexual literacy.

In sessions with both her neurodivergent clients and with the parents, partners and carers of neurodivergent children and adults, Mim teaches clients how to identify and express their own feelings, needs and boundaries in order to have more secure and sustainable relationships.

In a coaching and mentorship capacity, Mim offers a supportive and collaborative space for adolescents (14+ years old) recently diagnosed with ADHD and/or autism to explore who they are, develop self-awareness, learn emotional regulation tools and navigate school and friendships in ways that feel authentic.

Mim is currently accepting new clients for online sessions. For additional information or to get in touch, please email her at mimkempsontherapy@gmail.com
