Montreal Neuropsychology Center Inc. is a thriving private practice based in Westmount, Quebec. We offer assessment, psychotherapy, and coaching services to children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. We have a wide range of referral sources including public and private schools, medical clinics, government institutions, and other mental health professionals.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Psychologist or Psychotherapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing psychotherapy services to adults, addressing a range of emotional, behavioural, and psychological challenges.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct individual therapy sessions for adult clients using evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Develop group therapy services for specific adult populations

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs

Perform brief psychological assessments to identify mental health concerns and formulate appropriate treatment strategies

Provide support and psychoeducation to clients, empowering them with the resources needed for their mental health journey

Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies
Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Clinical Social Work, or a related field

Current registration or licensure with a recognized regulatory body in Quebec, such as OPQ or OTSTCFQ

Specialization or experience in adult psychotherapy, with a comprehensive understanding of adult mental health.

Proficiency in utilizing various therapeutic modalities suited for an adult clientele

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Demonstrates strong team collaboration skills; effective leadership qualities; self-directed with minimal supervision; flexible in approach; perceptive, insightful, and self-reflective; good judgment in high-pressure situations

Fully bilingual (spoken and written)

Familiarity, sensitivity, and/or experience working with diverse adult populations
