Occupational Therapist
(Pediatric)
Montreal Neuropsychology Center Inc. is a thriving private practice based in Westmount, Quebec. We offer assessment, psychotherapy, and coaching services to children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. We have a wide range of referral sources including public and private schools, medical clinics, government institutions, and other mental health professionals.
Position Overview:
We are excited to expand our team with a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting children with diverse needs, helping them achieve their fullest potential. You will work closely with children experiencing various developmental, emotional, and physical challenges, providing them with the tools and support to thrive in their everyday activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine the occupational needs of children

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on improving daily living skills, sensory processing, motor skills, and self-regulation

Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development

Provide direct therapy in one-on-one and group settings, utilizing creative and evidence-based interventions

Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, documenting progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to the overall strategy for patient care

Stay current with the latest research and advancements in pediatric occupational therapy
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
-
Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Quebec

Experience in pediatric occupational therapy or a strong interest in working with children with diverse needs

Knowledge of a variety of therapeutic interventions and approaches relevant to pediatric occupational therapy

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
