Montreal Neuropsychology Center Inc. is a thriving private practice based in Westmount, Quebec. We offer assessment, psychotherapy, and coaching services to children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. We have a wide range of referral sources including public and private schools, medical clinics, government institutions, and other mental health professionals.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Psychologist or Psychotherapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing psychotherapy services to children and adolescents, addressing a range of emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct individual therapy sessions for pediatric clients using evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Develop group therapy services with special populations.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.

Perform brief psychological assessments to identify mental health concerns and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.

Provide support and guidance to families and caregivers, offering psycho-education and resources as needed.

Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.
Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Clinical Social Work or related field.

Current registration or licensure with a recognized regulatory body in Quebec, such as OPQ or OTSTCFQ

Specialization or experience in pediatric psychotherapy, preferably with additional training in child and adolescent mental health.

Proficiency in utilizing various therapeutic modalities suited for children and adolescents.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Ability to work as a strong member of multidisciplinary team; strong and effective leadership skills; self-directed, requires little direct supervision; demonstrates flexibility in approach to job and others; is perceptive, insightful, self-reflecting, and aware of impact on others; shows good judgment in pressured situations.

Fully bilingual (spoken and written French and English).

Familiarity, sensitivity, and/or experience working with diverse populations.
