Lisa Serravalle, M.A.,  is a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Psychology program at Concordia University and a registered doctoral student member of L’Ordre des Psychologues de Québec (OPQ) under the supervision of Dr. Miglena Grigorova. She is currently completing her residency at the Montréal Children’s Hospital and will defend her dissertation on the family environment and prevention of psychopathology in offspring of parents with a mood disorder by August 2023. 

 

Lisa has worked with children, adolescents and families in the context of assessment and therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The range of presenting difficulties include anxiety, depression, learning disability, ADHD, school stress, peer/family conflict, emotion regulation, substance abuse, self-harm, suicidality, and difficulty coping with medical diagnoses (e.g., chronic pain, diabetes). She has also had the opportunity to work with individuals from a variety of cultural backgrounds, including indigenous populations in Northern Québec.
